A Fairy Tale in Real Life

Our love story really is a fairy tale. Complete with drama, bad experiences, and changes. We met in high school and dated for 2 years. We fell in love quickly and planned to spend our lives together. Well, life got in the way, as it is known to do. So, we fell apart, only to fall back together 10+ years later. Dating was a little more complicated this time, as we both had children from our previous marriages, but we made it work. We fell back in love just as quickly as we had fallen the first time. Now, that love story has grown. We had a son together, married on a beach, just as our dream had been many years before, purchased our dream home, and are now embarking on the next step in our journey.

Both owning separate successful businesses we have now put those together to open the wedding and event barn you see here. We have a love of telling love stories, both with a romantic nature. I'm more out in the open with my romanticism than him. But I swear he can be quite romantic, he just doesn't like to talk about it. We have a shared goal of helping others tell their own beautiful love story in an environment that is full of natural love, laughter, and history.

See the History

Originally a cattle farm this has been a family owned property for many years. When we bought this property, we wanted nothing more than to make our own history here. This family has only been owned by 2 other families in the past.

When we first saw the barn we both immediately pictured a rustic wedding and event venue full of love and laughter. With is natural charm of original timber beams, original milking stalls, and original hay loft equipment this property has been our dream come true.

We knew it would take a lot of work to prepare the barn for this adventure but at only a year into being in the house we dove right in. There have been countless hours with power washers, paint brushes, brooms and dustpans, and researching that have made this happen. We want it to truly have the family run appeal. So we have poured our blood, sweat, and tears in to this adventure.

We are still constantly working on the barn and grounds to continue to move them into the direction that we both envision. However, what better place than a home built on love to tell your love story.

When Two Become One

Andrew has always had the true entrepreneurial spirit. He has always been one to carve his own path. With a history of carpentry work on his own homes, and a visionary mind he brought a lot of the original ideas to the table. He has a love of history and has dove right in to making this place great. His first successful business is a camper/rv/boat storage facility located close to the current home. Built from the ground up this was a major stepping stone to future success.

Amanda was never the type to carve her own way, but with the encouragement of Andrew in 2018 she started her own photography business. Starting in their old dining room and then opening a studio outside the home (actually it is in the old milk barn on the property), she has grown successful. She learned to trust her instincts and brings to the table the ability to photograph your wedding day as well as be a coordinator at the same time. (Having 6 kids will make you a master at multi-tasking)

When given an amazing opportunity to take over this property we decided to make it spectacular. Together we have embarked on this journey to bring it all together and come full circle. Hoping to give you a family experience with laughter and love all on your special day.
